I am now convinced that the actor who plays Child Ben Linus and the actor who plays Adult Ben Linus are actually the same person, and time travel brought them both to the LOST set.

mumblelard: one-armed beating Lost has essentially been reduced to a single character arc.  Benjamin Linus is the island. The writers are focusing almost all of their attentions on their most successful creation. It will be interesting to see if they can sustain it without destroying the audience’s interest in Ben.
